TOSSING THE CABER, OPEN - Final (Gauld
Trophy)
The Caber may vary in length from 13 feet (4 metres) to 17 feet (5 metres) and taper from
a diameter of 10 inches (25cm) to 14 inches (35cm) at the thick end to 4 inches (10cm) to
6 inches (15cm) at the rounded thin end.
A perfect toss shall be one where the thin end of the Caber passes through the vertical
line and falls on the extended line i.e. 12 o'clock.
